The Department of Health has launched a new statewide, national and international recruitment campaign.
This campaign is focused on attracting candidates to current vacancies, including Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses, Nursing and Midwifery Leadership roles, various roles within Ambulance Tasmania, and medical roles including registrar and specialist vacancies.
Starting on Saturday, 27 April, the ongoing campaign will include print advertisements, social media content, and targeted advertising on recruitment websites.
The Department is advertising via traditional media as well as online employment platforms, targeted professional platforms, social media, and through direct links with educational institutions across Australia.
The campaign will highlight the fact that being a health care worker is one of the most meaningful careers in the world, and that the Department of Health in Tasmania can offer health professionals opportunities to Live, Work and Grow their career in a special and meaningful place.
Across the Department of Health, there are more than 16,000 skilled and dedicated staff who provide high-quality health services to people across Tasmania each and every day.
The Department of Health recognises that recruiting additional health professionals is important as demands on the health system continue to increase, as the Department works to improve the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians and demonstrate the shared values of Care, Accountability, Respect and Excellence (CARE).
There are a variety of roles available in various locations across the State.
